Cookie Policy

The cookies we set, what they do, and your choices. Last updated July 23, 2026.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We keep our use minimal: WorkBOS runs no third-party advertising trackers.

2. Cookies we use

  • Authentication (strictly necessary) — keeps you signed in securely. Removing it signs you out.
  • Workspace routing (strictly necessary) — remembers which branded workspace (subdomain) you are visiting so theming loads correctly.
  • Preferences (functional) — your theme, list layouts and similar choices (stored locally in your browser).
  • Partner attribution (functional, optional) — if you arrive through a partner link (?ref=CODE), a cookie stores that code for up to 60 days so the partner is credited if you subscribe. It contains only the referral code.

3. What we do not do

  • No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • No sale of cookie data.
  • No profiling of your workspace content for ads.

4. Your choices

  • The consent notice on our marketing pages lets you accept or limit non-essential cookies.
  • You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; strictly-necessary cookies are required for sign-in to work.
  • You can ignore partner links if you prefer no attribution cookie.

5. Changes & contact

We will update this page as our cookie use changes. Questions: privacy@workbos.com.
