Acceptable Use Policy

The rules that keep WorkBOS safe for every workspace. Last updated July 23, 2026.

1. Prohibited conduct

  • Illegal activity of any kind, or promoting/facilitating it.
  • Infringing others’ intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
  • Uploading malware, or content designed to disrupt systems or steal data.
  • Attempting to breach tenant isolation, escalate privileges, or probe/bypass security controls without written authorization.
  • Unsolicited bulk messaging (spam) through email, SMS or form endpoints.
  • Harassment, hate speech, or content sexualizing minors (zero tolerance — immediate termination and reporting to authorities).
  • Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation; impersonation.
  • Reselling or sublicensing access outside the official White-Label program.

2. Fair use

  • Automated access must use the official API within documented rate limits.
  • We may throttle or cap abusive load (scraping, bulk export loops, mass deletes) to protect all tenants.
  • AI usage is subject to plan meters and per-tenant cost ceilings.

3. White-label responsibilities

Resellers must pass equivalent conduct obligations to their clients, respond to abuse reports affecting their sub-tenants, and not market the platform deceptively.

4. Enforcement

We may warn, throttle, suspend or terminate access for violations — immediately where there is legal exposure, security risk or harm to others, and with notice otherwise. We report where the law requires. Appeals: legal@workbos.com.
